The Mausoleum of Shao Hao is the burial place of Shao Hao, one of five legendary emperors supposed to have ruled China around 4000 years ago. The unique pyramidal tomb, which has a history of over 700 years, dates back to the Song Dynasty. Somewhat like its Egyptian counterparts, so the tomb is also known as "the Oriental Pyramid". It is made with large blocks of stone about 25m wide at the base and 6m high. There is a small temple standing on the top of the tomb. Surrounding the mausoleum are city walls, halls and archways.
