The park is located in the Songbei Development Zone on the northern bank of Songhuajiang River, and it borders the famous tourist resort, the Sun Island. It is the only and largest natural park of the Manchurian Tigers. The park houses about 90 of these animals, as well as 15 African lions and a pair of rare white tigers. Of 966,000 square meters in the park, 360,000 square meters have been open to the public. You will be driven like safaris through the fenced-off fields. Since opening in January 1996, it has received nearly 400,000 tourists.
