Jiangxi Museum
 
Built in 1958, the Jiangxi Museum is located in Xinzhou, south of Tengwangge Pavilion, with an area of four hectares and a floor space of 6,000 square meters. The museum is the center of collection and preservation of historic antiques, and of undertaking archaeological work and research. It collects 100,000 relics, including ancient pottery ware, bronze ware, calligraphy and paintings, ancient books and historical records, local chronicles, and inscribed tablets.
 
Among the valuable historical relics some are national treasures, including 1,000 pieces of relics unearthed from the ruins of the Shang Dynasty; 1,000 bronze ware, jade ware, and pottery ware unearthed from the ruins of the Shang Dynasty; relics unearthed from the ruins at Tongling arid Ruichang; 200 pieces of relics unearthed from Guixiya; and pottery ware unearthed from the ruins of past dynasties.
