The Park is the biggest open tropical one in Haikou City. There are various tropical plants, beautiful beaches and fine recreational facilities in the park. The Evergreen Park is a newly-built artificial park completed in the late 1990s. Moreover, it is also a well-known place for holding big celebrates in the city. Many Chinese traditional activities such as the celebration of the New Year, the Spring Festival, the Labor's Day, the National Day, the Mid-autumn Day and the Lantern Festival have been held here.
